Project completed while Associate at Hart Howerton. Covering over 20,000 acres of South Carolina’s Low Country alongside the May River, Palmetto Bluff has consistently ranked as one of the country’s top resort destinations. Project entailed master planning, architecture, landscape and hardscape design, signage, roadway and bridge design and design guidelines. Major architectural works included the hotel, spa, golf clubhouse and ancillary buildings, fitness and pool centers and boat club and storage. The Inn at Palmetto Bluff received Travel + Leisure’s number 1 ranking for the Best Resorts in the US for 2009, and ranked number 14 worldwide.
